CQC Registered Provider

Inclusive Care Options is registered with the Care Quality Commission for Personal Care, supporting adults under 65 with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments across Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea.

How CQC Assesses Us

CQC’s Single Assessment Framework evaluates providers across five key questions and 24 topic areas. Here is what each means for the people we support.

Safe

“I feel safe and am supported to understand and manage any risks.”

Named Safeguarding Adults Lead and Deputy in post. Every incident logged on our Digital Care System, investigated, and used for learning. Safe recruitment with enhanced DBS checks. Staff trained in PROACT-SCIPr-UK® positive behaviour support and least restrictive practice.

Effective

“I am supported by people who listen carefully, so they know what matters to me.”

Nurse-led clinical oversight with holistic assessments, multidisciplinary coordination, and regular Care Plan reviews. Consent obtained lawfully under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 for every decision. 139 operational policies maintained to V5.0 Gold Standard.

Caring

“I am treated with respect and dignity.”

Staff matched to Service Users by skills, personality, and interests. Our values — Compassionate, Committed, Competent, Integrity — guide every interaction. Privacy, confidentiality, and personal identity respected in every home.

Responsive

“I have care and support that is co-ordinated, and everyone works well together and with me.”

Care designed around individuals, not rotas. Key documents available in Easy Read and accessible formats. Feedback welcomed through surveys, conversations, and a clear complaints process.

Well-Led

“The people who support me are well trained and know what they are doing.”

Partnership Working

Close collaboration with local authority commissioners, NHS community teams, GPs, therapists, specialist consultants, pharmacists, and advocacy services. We keep families and unpaid carers informed and involved as active members of the care team.

Regular Audits

Rolling internal audits of care plans, medication records, safeguarding, consent documentation, staff competency, recruitment files, and incident logs. Findings drive targeted improvements and are tracked to completion.

We acknowledge complaints within two working days and aim to respond fully within 20 working days. If you remain unsatisfied, we will provide details of the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman. You can also contact CQC directly at www.cqc.org.uk.

Clinical Oversight

All care overseen by NMC-registered nurses who review plans, monitor outcomes, and escalate concerns early. Our nurse-led model means clinical issues — medication side effects, swallowing difficulties, behavioural changes — are identified before they become crises.

Continuous Improvement

We don’t just meet standards — we continuously raise them. In the past 12 months we have:

  • Built a 139-policy Gold Standard manual cross-referenced to the CQC 2026 framework
  • Produced Easy Read policy versions for Service Users with learning disabilities
  • Embedded a Professional Curiosity framework across safeguarding and consent practice
  • Implemented a Digital Care System for real-time recording and incident tracking
  • Achieved measurable reductions in challenging behaviour through coordinated MDT reviews

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

We make reasonable adjustments as standard — Easy Read, large print, translated materials, flexible visit times, and culturally aware staff. We comply with the Accessible Information Standard and actively monitor our service for inequalities in experience or outcomes.

Staff Training

Ongoing professional development from induction onwards, covering safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, medication management, positive behaviour support, consent, infection control, and specialist skills for the people we support. Competency assessed through supervision, observation, and annual appraisal.

£10 Million Specialist Insurance

We carry comprehensive specialist care insurance covering up to £10 million. This provides complete peace of mind for service users, families, and commissioners.

Our insurance demonstrates our commitment to professional practice and financial responsibility, ensuring we can support individuals with even the most complex needs safely and sustainably.
